On Thursday 1st June, the Directors of Allcooper were delighted to host a celebration evening at the newly redeveloped site in Kingsholm, Gloucester, which will shortly become their head office.
June marks the month that the family business was founded back in 1987, making it 30 years since Gary Cooper and his sons, Gerard and Roman established the Gloucester-based security and fire systems specialists.
Fast forward 30 years and there's a great success story to be told, including the expansion to offices in London and Birmingham, as well as a steady growth which now sees Allcooper employ over 100 engineering and office-based staff across its four divisions.
It just so happens that this significant anniversary has tied in very nicely with the work taking place in Kingsholm, so it was with great delight that over 100 of Allcooper's long-standing customers, suppliers and associates were welcomed on 1st June to see the new space for the first time, and hear just some of the stories Gerard and Roman have collected through the years. Local politician, Richard Graham also said some words on the evening, highlighting the company's proud history and rise over the years.

Allcooper acquired the site on Kingsholm Road in September 2015 with the vision of transforming it from the car showroom/workshop it had been for several decades, into a fresh new environment for the business to move its operations. There was no doubt that this would be a huge task, but knowing the Cooper's love of taking on a big challenge, it was one that would be fully embraced.

The redevelopment has been ongoing for approximately 18 months and run together by Gary and Roman Cooper, who have tailored the space to meet the needs of the business now and into the future.
Allcooper has been based at its current site in Hucclecote for 20 years.
