Gloucester-based security and fire system specialist, Allcooper, has agreed to sponsor the Kingsway Family Fun Run this April.
Allcooper, with offices in Gloucester, Birmingham and London, is continuing its sponsorship of the fun run event, which is taking place for a second year on 14th April 2019 and aims to help families and businesses get active together and support local good cause’s including the Pied Piper Appeal which is the firm’s partner charity.
The family-run business started out more than 30 years ago and has since grown to become a respected provider of security protection and fire safety technology, which now helps to protect thousands of people and billions of pounds’ worth of property and assets.
Tony Symonds, Marketing Executive, at Allcooper, said: “We adopted the Pied Piper Appeal as our Charity of the Year and we are committed to supporting them through a range of activities. We were also sponsors of the Kingsway Family Fun Run in its first year and want to do everything we can to support and promote the event again this year.
“The event is based in Gloucester, and wherever possible, it is important to us to be involved in things that support our local community. We hope it will encourage people to get together with their families, get outside and get active for a great cause."
The Family Fun Run, which starts at 10am has been organised by the Rotary Club of Severn Vale.
On behalf of the Rotary Club, President Mike Hall said: “We are very grateful to Allcooper for their continued sponsorship and support of this event. We want to encourage as many local families and businesses to take part in the Fun Run, come together and enjoy a healthier, more active lifestyle”.
The Fun Run includes 1K, 2.5K and 5K accessible routes with entry fees from £15 for a family of two adults and two children under the age of 18.
