This is Edward Mills. At just 8-years-old, he became the youngest ever person to complete the famous 'Old Man of Hoy' climb - raising over £30,000 for charity.
Edward's family are close friends of the Cooper family, and so we wanted to share his story with you.
From a young age, Edward has always been a climbing enthusiast. With the support of his parents, Bekki and Nathan, Edward's love for climbing has taken him on a journey which has seen him travel across the country - from indoor climbing walls to rock faces in Dartmoor, Scotland and Wales.
Unfortunately, for as long as Edward could remember, his mum had been living with cancer. This was extremely difficult for all the family to cope with, and especially tough on Edward and his older brother, George.
In the face of a terminal illness and despite much pain and suffering, Bekki remained as strong as ever in her support of Edward's climbing career, following him wherever his climbing would take him.
This inspirational young man wanted to do something special to help his mum and people with cancer. So, Edward took it upon himself to take on the biggest challenge of his life - to climb The Old Man of Hoy in Orkney, Scotland. He would climb in support of his mum and to raise money for the charity, Climbers Against Cancer.
At 125 metres high, this was to be no ordinary climb. It had simply never been climbed by someone as young as Edward.
On 9th June 2018, Edward did it. With his mum watching on from a nearby boat, he completed the ascent in 4 hours 55 minutes.
Bekki sadly passed away in August 2018. She was incredibly proud of Edward's achievements, which have since led to him being recognised on a national level.
In October 2018, Edward received a Pride of Britain award. Now, he's nominated for another award - Laureas Sporting Moment of the Year - and we need your help to bring home the award.
