Your choice of wired or wireless technology

Traditionally, home alarms have always been wired systems, with their components connected by cables installed throughout the home. Whilst this is still a popular method of installation, advancements in alarm technology has led to the rise of the wireless alarm system, a wire-free solution that offers a more affordable and simplistic alternative.

Instead of cables, the components of a wireless house alarm are battery-powered, using radio technology to communicate with the central Control Panel. This means a more straightforward installation for us, and a more cost-effective system for you.

Choosing a Home Burglar Alarm is not always easy. It is a competitive market with many burglar alarm companies choosing to use different manufacturers and products.

In order to receive the best system and service that's right for you, it is always recommended to use an accredited installer, who can demonstrate they meet the highest industry standards, such as NSI Gold. Burglar Alarm Installation

All our installers are fully-trained to fit your system professionally, and with the least possible disturbance. They go about their job professionally and discreetly, ensuring you’re comfortable with your new installation.

Once your new system has been installed, our engineers will provide you with a full, simple-to-follow demonstration on how to use it effectively. They will ensure it is programmed to meet your individual needs, and that you’re comfortable with its use before handing over.

Burglar Alarm Maintenance with your Service Contract

It is important that your Burglar Alarm System is regularly maintained. This will take place once a year or, if Police monitored, twice a year. This maintenance will ensure that any issues with your system are highlighted, batteries are changed and the engineer can help if you need to make changes to the programming or have any questions.

The maintenance is included within a yearly Service Contract which we always advise our customers to take up. The cost of your contract is payable by Direct Debit, spread over 12 months.

An annual maintenance visit by a fully qualified Allcooper engineer, who will maintain your alarm and replace any parts to maximise its performance over the next year (parts and consumables will be charged in line with your contract terms, monitored alarm systems require two visits per year).

4-hour response with priority over non-contracted calls (intruder alarm systems).

Reduced call-out rates
Preferential call-out rates for our engineers over non-contracted customers.

Dedicated Service Team & Technical Support
Access to remote technical support from our friendly and helpful team. They're on hand if you have any issues and will notify you when your next maintenance visit is due.

Maintenance Record
A history of your system will be stored and available to you, providing a record of regular maintenance in the event of an insurance claim.


Monitored Domestic Alarm Systems

Having your Home Alarm monitored means, if activated, it will send a signal to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) via a phone line or mobile network. Monitored alarms are designed to alert you to the first sign of intrusion. If your monitored alarm is triggered, the ARC will act immediately to initiate an appropriate response.

We’ll help you consider how you want your alarm to be responded to. This will always include choosing a list of keyholders, who the ARC can call in the event of an alarm activation. However, you may also be able to choose Police response, providing certain conditions are met. This is more commonly when installing burglar alarms for homes with higher level of risk.
