Married to Sue with 3 children. Gerard started the business in the same month he got married! He had worked his way through the classic electrical apprenticeship with a very old, well respected Gloucester company.
He worked for a local fire company, which also had a small intruder alarm part of the business. After a few years, he approached his boss and asked him if he would like to sell the intruder part of the business, as Gerard wanted to start his own business.
His boss agreed very favourable terms (thanks Graham) and Allcooper was born, with a ready made customer base. Through sheer hard work, the business grew and eventually Gerard moved into a sales role.
He developed our London business and Allcooper look after the security of some very wealthy individuals and some well known personalities. He is also responsible for winning work for Allcooper to install and maintain systems across Europe.
